Kamma Uploader

Upload documents for several properties

Upload a single ZIP archive containing your documents and a manifest.csv file that describes which document belongs to which application. We already hold each property's address, so the manifest needs only the application reference and its postcode.

Up to 1.0 GiB and 2,000 files, and it must contain manifest.csv.
Archives are unpacked in the background. We will email you when yours has finished.

manifest.csv

Provide one row for each document, saved as CSV in UTF-8 with a header row.

Column Required What it holds
reference Required The application reference, as Kamma sent it to you.
postcode Required The postcode of the property the application is for.
category Required One of the headings below. Case is ignored.
filename Required The name of the file inside the archive.
description Optional Up to 255 characters, shown to Kamma staff.
has_gas_supply Optional yes or no. Whether that property has a gas supply.
is_limited_company Optional yes or no. Whether it is held in a limited company.

The last two columns tell us the same about a property as the questions on the single application form do, and they decide whether we need a gas safety certificate and a fit and proper declaration. They belong to the application rather than to the row, so where an application reference appears more than once the answers must match or the job will fail. Leaving them out is fine: we will ask for both documents and tell you if they are missing.

Download a template to start from.

If any row has a problem, nothing will be stored. You are given a report of every problem in the manifest rather than the first one, and no part of it is applied. Each application reference is checked against its postcode exactly as it is when you upload for a single application.

The archive is deleted as soon as it has been unpacked and scanned. Only the documents inside it are retained, are encrypted in transit and at rest, scanned for viruses and malware, and deleted on the timetable set out in our terms notice. Any access by Kamma staff is logged and monitored.
